Kelly Race

Ms. Kelley Race, PG, LSP, is an Associate at Weston & Sampson, with offices throughout New England and Florida. She manages activities associated with brownfields sites in New England specifically assessment, investigation, remediation, and construction. She has more than 23 years of experience, is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) in the State of Massachusetts, and a certified Professional Geologist (PG) in the state of New Hampshire. Ms. Race was appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Hazardous Waste Site Cleanup Professionals (LSP Board). The LSP Board is charged with licensing and continuing education requirements, along with the LSP Board's ongoing disciplinary program, that were designed to ensure that LSPs have the knowledge and experience to guide their clients properly through the assessment and cleanup process mandated by the state regulations. Ms. Race has a BS and MS in geology and is active in several brownfields committees. She is a founding member of the Northeast Brownfields Coalition- Massachusetts Chapter, was a member of the Executive Committee National Brownfields Association-Massachusetts Chapter, member of National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC), member of the Maine Geological Society, and NH Council of Professional Geologists as well as several other trade groups. She has published and presented numerous papers, posters, and has been a speaker at Brownfields Conferences, Brownfields Roundtables, the Environmental Expo, EPA and the National Brownfields Association Conferences, the National Groundwater Association, among others.
