Dave Specca

Dave Specca is the Assistant Director of the Rutgers University EcoComplex. He started working at the Rutgers EcoComplex in 1995 and has focused his research and business development efforts on renewable energy, solid waste management and controlled environment agriculture. His background is in applied environmental research and greenhouse agriculture. Dave grew up on his family's 250 acre vegetable farm in central New Jersey and has also worked for an Ag Biotech firm as their East Coast Production Manager. His broad exposure agricultural and environmental issues help him to develop practical solutions for projects under development at the EcoComplex. Dave obtained his BS in Horticulture from Cook College, Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Plant Science at Rutgers.
